In May 2021, poet laureate Amanda Gorman, who read her work “The Hill We Climb” at theinauguration ceremony of the new US President Joe Biden in January 2021, was featured on the cover of US Vogue. The young woman uses poetry to talk about her commitments, such as protecting the environment with
her poem “Earthrise”.
